How to set up 1820 in your AI assistant. Providers keep renaming their menus, but the process stays the same: enter an address, no sign-up needed.

1. Claude (claude.ai / Desktop)

   Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → enter the MCP server address above. No authentication needed.

2. ChatGPT

   In settings, under Apps & Connectors, turn on developer mode and add a custom connector with the MCP server address above. This needs a paid subscription; the exact menu names keep changing on the provider's side.

3. Claude Code

   In the terminal:

   claude mcp add --transport http 1820 https://mcp.1820.ch/mcp
